The date calculator finds the number of days, weeks, months and working days between two dates, or the date that falls a given number of days, weeks, months or years before or after a date.
Common uses
- Days left until retirement, a deadline or the end of the financial year (31 March).
- Counting service length or notice period.
- Working days for a project (Monday to Friday; public holidays are not excluded).
- Finding a maturity date: an FD or RD opening date plus its tenure.
- Life certificate deadlines, such as 30 November for pensioners.
Frequently asked questions
Does the result include the end date?
The main figure excludes the end date; the card “Including end date” adds one day.
How are months added?
Adding a month moves to the same date in the next month. If that date does not exist (for example 31 February), the calendar rolls over to the next valid date.
